Job Description
Job Title: Concierge/Receptionist
Reports to: Marketing Director
Location: Mission Oaks Assisted Living, Oxford FL
Status: Non-exempt
Provides community relations to those entering the building and calling in. Maintains professionalism, following company policy and procedure, including handling media. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity.
Responsible for providing guest relations, answering phones and greeting visitors, vendors, family members, etc. upon entrance to the community.
Provides tours when needed
Maintain sign in logs
Assist and distribute mail
Maintain clean and tidy entrance area
Clerical duties, filing, copying and other duties as assigned.
Complies with privacy required by Mission Oaks Senior Living or state regulator agencies

High school diploma preferred. Basic typing skills along with a working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software are required, preferably in Microsoft Windows environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Must have a valid driver license and access to a private vehicle for business use.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to blood borne pathogens. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and toxic caustic chemical. The environment is characteristic of a facility in which healthcare is provided to the frail elderly. The noise level is usually moderate. Maybe required to travel for group settings.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
