Brown & Brown Farms Brown & Brown Farms Oxford, FL Oxford, FL Temporary Part-time Temporary Part-time $13 - $15 an hour $13 - $15 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago After successful Fall events, Brown & Brown Farms will be hosting its first Strawberry Festival on February 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th (2 Saturdays & Sundays in a row) and we need some help from people looking to earn some extra money while having fun! (There will be some extra hours beforehand for training too) Over the past year, we have reinvested in our farm to bring an even better experience to our local community! As well as Central Florida's largest Corn Maze during the Fall, we now offer Strawberry U-Pick and, next month, our first Strawberry Festival! At the festival guests can expect to work in a fun environment filled with fun activities, great food & drinks and entertainment.
We are now asking for help in a variety of areas:
Attractions/Entertainment Team - we are looking for approachable social butterflies to interact with the guests (including lots of kids!), to make sure that everybody is safe, following the rules, informed and having a great time! Clean Team - we need a hardworking team to keep the farm and its facilities clean.
Tasks will include picking up trash, tidying up, cleaning tables, chairs, equipment and the store.
Independent, self-starters please! Food & Drinks Team - we will be selling food and drinks on the farm, so those who are good and efficient at customer service, keeping a tidy work space and enjoy preparing food and drinks with a smile are of interest to us! Guest Services Team - we're also looking for friendly folks who will greet our guests, work in admissions and also show everybody where to go while answering any questions.
These roles will be fun and rewarding, however we ONLY want individuals who are reliable and can commit to and work the above hours required (at least 3 out of the 4 days) Applicants must be reasonably fit, prepared to be on their feet for hours at a time and ok with working in the Florida sunshine.
