Will have direct contact with staff daily while maintaining the property and public areas at all times to ensure all areas meet our church's standards of excellence.
General Description:
Grounds Manager and facilities support for two LOCC campuses, Woodridge and Southern Oaks.
Maintenance, care, and modifications of the grounds and landscaping.
Maintain and improve the outdoor areas of both campus environments to support the mission and vision of LOCC.
Ensure the outdoor areas are safe, clean, and attractive.
Make, or assist with, minor repairs (indoor and outdoor) at both campuses.
Provide groundskeeping, maintenance, and logistical support to special projects and LOCC events.
All other duties as assigned.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Maintain all outdoor areas and ministry activity space while supporting inside facility functions, requirements, and activities as needed.
Provide the following services for our campuses:
mowing, edging, weeding, hedges, trimming, basic landscaping, powerwashing, sprinkler system care, organizing, improving, and overall care of our grounds and supporting the needs of our facilities.
Works in collaboration with the Director of Technology and Director of Facilities to support initiatives, organziation of church equipment and supplies, and special projects.
Make sure all equipment and vehicles area maintained and inventoried.
Ensure supplies are stocked and resources are ready for use.
Support set up for ministry events and activities.
Other duties as assigned Secondary Responsibilities Assist other departments or in property initiatives based on direction from management.
Practice an honest and transparent culture with other staff and managers.
Come to work prepared every day.
Understand and practice excellent time management.
Physical Demands:
Carry up to 30 pounds.
Work in various temperatures (hot and cold).
Work indoors and outdoors.
Be physically active throughout an 8 hour average work day.
Be on your feet for extended periods throughout the day.
