Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of activity assistant.
Encourage community involvement in location and work with volunteers.
Follow appropriate and adequate safety measures while on outings.
Assure residents are supervised at all times while in planned groups/outings, assist in tasks related to resident as necessary.
Provides residents with opportunities and choice consistent with Assist in developing, leading or assisting and evaluating the effectiveness of programs to meet residents' needs.
Keep activity area free of hazards, and keeping harmful substances in locked storage and discards properly.
Self-motivating will train for competency and understanding of dementia, diet restrictions, policy and procedure.
Provides activities that meet residents' needs.
